New feature: Retain can now automatically update. Go to the application menu Retain Productivity...Check for Updates... in order to check for the latest release.
Update: Now that Retain has become more mature, we have disabled the debug console. This improve the app performance and security.
Note: Downloads and updates are hosted by Crab Nebula, which is a service for publishing apps.
Retain AI service: You can now use AI features without having to Bring Your Own API Key. For now, Retain uses GPT-4o, but in the future we are looking to support a wide range of foundational models, such as Anthropic.
Bug fix: Real-time transcriptions were not displaying in the prior two pre-release versions. These have been fixed now.
